HI THERE, MY NAME IS DES
Actually, my whole name is Lourdes. I'm a Filipino, born and raised (and still living) in the Philippines. I'm a Business graduate majoring in Management Information Systems. In 2014, I decided to shift career - leaving my regular job as I want to explore my creative side. Until now, I'm still pursuing that dream. Maybe one day, I'll be given that wonderful chance to do what I always wanted to do.
Recently, I discover the bookstagram community in Instagram. At the same time, my friend and I launched our small online shop that offers book-inspired candles to our fellow bookworms.
As of now, I'm still enjoying life as single and as a brand new aunt to my baby niece.
So join me in this fun-filled blogging discovery: whether in the world of books and literature, skincare, coffee, tea, dark chocolates or beautiful tourist destinations.

MORE FACTS ABOUT ME
I used to have a pet dog named Starlet, a pitbull but died when she was 4 months old.
I'm a discreet Korean drama fanatic (I select what I want to watch).
I'm the eldest among 3 children (1 sister and 1 brother).
I cried for a week after I lost all my book collections during the 2009 Typhoon Ondoy tragedy because the muddy flood entered our home. There are almost 200 books, mostly are hard-to-find editions.
I was a softball player.
I love living in the city even if I hated the noise and pollution.
I hate Reese or any peanut butter covered in chocolate.
