It has been awhile since I last posted a book reaction to a series favorite.
If you have not yet read the first two books in The Witchlands series, I highly suggest that you do read them first (Truthwitch and Windwitch).
**I received an electronic copy of an except from TorTeen (via NetGalley) in exchange for my honest opinion. Please note that all thoughts and opinions about this book are solely mine. Thank you NetGalley and TorTeen!
BEFORE READING:
My first impression with The Witchland series by Susan Dennard is a mixture of Assassin's Creed and A Court of Thorns and Roses series (by Sarah J. Maas). It is full of magic and action that I cannot put the book down.
Bloodwitch - the third novel in series, is one of my highly anticipated release for this year. After reading the first two books in the series, Truthwitch and Windwitch, I was very excited to learn that the third book will be release this February. I have grown to fall in love with characters of Aeduan and Iseult. So, when I received a notification from NetGalley that my request is granted, I immediately dived in.
WHILE READING:
OH MY GOODNESS!!!
From the moment I start reading the first page of the first chapter, I was HOOKED!!! I was definitely at the edge of my seat (rather, my bed) as I read through their adventures, mostly Aeduan since this is his story. I practically flew through the pages as every questions are being answered, page by page. So much action! I love how Ms. Dennard's style of writing threw me off into a fantasy land. Imagine you are playing Assassin's Creed but with different characters. I know I am being biased as I am very vocal about my love for Aeduan-Iseult ship. I was so happy with their character development. So much more is happening in this story.
AFTER READING:
Well, since I received an excerpt... I was devestated and it is driving me crazy!!!
I wanted to know what will happen next. Will the four of them cross paths again? Will Safi learn that Merik survived? Will Iseult and Aeduan fall of each other??? **I am not sure if I will be rating this as again, this is an excerpt. I will make a full review and rating once I have the book on my hand.** So many questions and I am every excited to tell everyone that it will be RELEASE on February 12, 2019.
